On the 16th of June 1976, roughly 700 students died and another 4,000 injured in Soweto fighting for better education and life. So much has been done in this part of the South Africa, however, 18 years after the democratic dispensation, young people of Soweto still need more support to overcome the challenges they face including the scourge of HIV/AIDS and economic emancipation.

To contribute towards making a difference in the lives of young people of this popular historical South African township, Star For Life is excited that to be involved in building the future generations of South Africa by launching it Health and Education Programme in ten (10) Soweto schools between 2012 and 2013 with the sponsorship of the Swedish Postcode lottery.
