Primary Schools to showcase their talent at the 2nd Star For Life Arts Festival.

Young aspiring artists from Star For Life partnered primary schools will have an opportunity to showcase their talent on Friday, 05 September 2014 at the 2nd Star For Life Primary School’s Arts Festival to held at Hluhluwe Rugby Club.

All four primary schools partnered with Star For Life will participate at this much-anticipated event; Phumlani Primary School, Macabuzela, Nompondo, Ntuthukoyamazulu are the four primary schools required to contribute in all the prescribed genres; drama, music, and visual arts.


Speaking about the festival the Star For Life Primary Schools Coach and one of the organizers for this event Mr. Dumisani Ngubane said; “The idea behind the launch of this event last year was to give learners from previously disadvantaged background a platform to showcase their talent.”


“We expert to see all forms of arts being portrayed at the event tomorrow including music, drama, poetry and visual arts,” said Ngubane.


Mbali Ntuli the Star For Life Primary School’s intern and the co-event organizer said this event will also help learners to boost their self esteem and confidence through arts, “Learner have shown enthusiasm towards the preparations of this event, this year’s exhibition will include a mass dance where all four schools will be dancing together,” said Mbali.


Several stakeholders from different government organizations and other concerned organizations will also be in attendance at this event.
