Ultimately the Star for Life programmes are designed to build attitudes and change behaviours in youth in ways that empower them to realise their dreams of a better future. In addition to evident value founded in empowering youth to take decisions that will reduce the risk of them contracting HIV and AIDS, we have considered programme elements of expansion which include the operationalizing of the Skills for Life Programme in partnership with Volvo Southern Africa where the apprenticeship project has progressed well.
The SFL also now runs four (4) core programme areas namely: Health and Education, Star For Life skills, Star For Life Sports and Star For Life  Arts & Culture.  Other supportive programmes are the Monitoring and Evaluation and the Advocacy work.
